More “Truther” Nuke Lies 3

“Truther” B, from a previous article, is now going on about neutron bombs, which are a type of nuclear bomb and uses this site as his “proof,” never mind the fact, that, as mentioned previously, even “TRUTHERS” have debunked this claim.

The article posted by “Truther”  B makes several claims about certain elements that should never be found in buildings which is completely false- the order I address them in is not necessarily the order that the authors put them in.

Quote 1 from said article: “Barium and Strontium: Neither of these elements should ever appear in building debris in these quantities. “

Fellow Debunker 5, from another earlier article points out that barium is used in steel and cast iron, and may also be used in rat poison. It seems to me that a 30 year-old building might have to worry about pests such as rats. He also points out that strontium is used in cathode ray tubes such as what one would have in a computer monitor or a TV. Logic dictates that a place such as the WTC would have had a LOT of those.

Quote 2 from the “truther” article: “ Chromium: The presence of Chromium is one more “tell tale” signature of a nuclear detonation.”

Not necessarily- Fellow Debunker five correctly reminds us that chromium is also a wood preservative and a dye and may be found in some jewels, and is also used to make chrome. In addition, as I mentioned in one of my earliest articles chromium can also be a component of steel.

Quote 3 from this article: “ Thorium and Uranium: These elements only exist in radioactive form. Thorium is a radioactive element formed from Uranium by decay. It’s very rare and should not be present in building rubble, ever. So once again we have verifiable evidence that a nuclear fission event has taken place.”

Wrong again- thorium may be used in electronic components ( reference ) and uranium is often used in smoke detectors ( source). I’m fairly certain a place like the WTC would have LOTS of smoke detectors.

Quote 4 from said reference:Lithium: With the presence of lithium we have compelling evidence that this fission pathway of Uranium to Thorium and Helium, with subsequent decay of the Helium into Lithium has taken place.”

Lithium can be found in cell phones in the form of lithium niobate and may also be found in various types of batteries, rechargeable or otherwise( source) and can also be used in glass ( reference). It would be a fairly safe bet that a very good portion of the people at the WTC would have had cell phones as it is a very rare person who doesn’t have one and I’m sure there were plenty of batteries there as well for flashlights and such in case of power failure.

Quote 5 from “truther” article: “Lanthanum: Lanthanum is the next element in the disintegration pathway of the element Barium.”

Again, not necessarily. As we see here, lanthanum is often used for lighting, optical fibers, and may also be used in cameras, video cameras, and lenses. I’m fairly certain there would have been more than a few of those in the WTC.

Quote 6 from this article: “Yttrium: The next decay element after Strontium, which further confirms the presence of Barium.”

Nope, Yttrium can also be used to produce the color red in TV picture tubes, and, again, as I mentioned a few paragraphs ago, Fellow Debunker 5 correctly points out there would have been quite a few TV’s in the WTC, and therefore the picture tubes as well ( source ).

Last, but not least, quote 7 from “truther” article: “Tritium: A very rare element and should not be found at concentrations 55 times normal in the basement of WTC-6 no less than 11 days after 9/11, which is another “tell tale” sign of nukes.”

Another lie. Tritium is used in the exit signs of buildings ( source ). Another use, which I mentioned in a different article is a paint polymer. I also mentioned in that article that no abnormal levels of tritium were found.

There is also another little problem- and a hat tip to Blooddraken, aka wolf5177, from a previous article for pointing it out- you cannot have a true mini-nuke as all nuclear reactions need an absolute minimum amount of material to both begin and maintain a reaction. This is what is known as critical mass.

Fellow Debunker 5 points out that the smallest possible nuke, theoretically, could not be less than 10 tons of yield, such as the Davy Crocket one I mentioned previously. He also points out that a neutron bomb, which is also known as an Enhanced Radiation Warhead ( reference ) would release at least 10 times the radiation of a normal nuke, which would mean people would be dead or have very severe cases of radiation poisoning.

There are several other problems with the claim of nukes at the WTC, which I pointed out earlier:

1: All nuclear blasts have radiation fall-out, as we see here.

2: There was no mushroom cloud, which is a characteristic of nuclear explosions ( source ).

3: There was no electromagnetic pulse ( EMP) and, as we see here, all nuclear explosions produce EMPs- a nuclear blast that does not produce an EMP is PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE.

Once again, we see that “truthers are full of more BS than a bull with a case of the runs.
